By popular request, we have put together a show specifically for younger children. This is a kiddy show with lots of funny bits to delight young children. It includes easy to understand magic created to amaze and delight the younger party audiences. The show includes color, comedy, stories, magic and a live appearing bunny. This show is wrapped in a fun filled 30 min package guaranteed to keep younger children's attention. This magic show is recommending for party's where most of the children attending are 5 years old and younger.

(1 hr. show for 6-9 year olds)

50 Minute Magic Show (Approximately).
Features both Ric and Kara in a high energy magic show with audience participation, which includes magic, music, comedy, mystery, stories and lots of fun. We open the show with a fun series of magic where we turn the birthday child into a instant magician where they perform tricks with cards, rope, silk, an appearing wand all to up beat music. We even provide a custom photo of this fun effect. The show includes a magic story about selfishness and sharing. At the end of the show the birthday child is highlighted with a specal magical effect..

Live Rabbit Appears. For the big magic show finale, we bring up the birthday child and hand them a magic wand. They will wave the wand during this closing routine and instantly make our live Rabbit appear. Now, the look on your child's face will be priceless because they have made this fluffy white bunny with blue eyes appear. Of course, all the other kids will be oohing and ahhing like crazy.

The show is Extremely funny. This show is specifically designed to tickle children's funny bone and make them laugh like crazy. Oh, by the way, adults enjoy the show and have fun as well.

The show is Highly interactive. This is extremely important at birthday parties because children don’t want to just sit and watch a show. They want to be actively involved and have lots magic effects where we need the help of one or more children.

Photo Session. Before we send the birthday child back to their seat we let them hold the bunny in a top hat while we all pose for a quick photo session. The photo itself will be priceless. Free Magic Trick for the children. Children love to try some magic on their own. So, during the show, we teach the children how to do a simple magic trick. We then give them this magic trick after the show as a souvenir. The magic trick is something that lasts and something that they can bring home and show their friends and family. Skill level for this trick is 5 years old and up.

Meet and Greet the Magicians. The children always have questions and just want to talk to us after the show and meet the bunny; so, for the remainder of the hour, we let the children pet the bunny and we answer their question as best we can without giving up the secrets to the magic show. The kids really love this part.

Optional Illusion: For an additional $25 added to your show price, we will perform the Chair Suspension Illusion. We will magically float the birthday child in the air, right in your living room. This wonderful illusion is limited to children less then 85 lbs. and requires a solid surface. We need at least an 7 foot wide performance area to present this illusion. This makes for an unforgettable photograph, so be sure to have your cameras ready!

Question: I've never done a children's birthday party before. Do you have any suggestions on what to do?

Answer: We know for many of you this may be the first party you are throwing for your child. May we suggest you read our Birthday Party Planner. It will give you many ideas for saving time and money. After 31 years of performing at birthday parties, I have seen a lot of good parties and a some that could have benefited from our little guild. Click here to read it.

Question: How early in advance should I book Ric and Kara for my entertainment?

Answer: We book all performances on a first come first serve bases. So as soon as you know the date of your party call us to schedule your time. Due to the popularity of our performance, the earlier in advance you call the better chance you have of getting the time you want. You can book us up to 1 year in advance, and some have.

Question: What can we do to prepare for your arrival on the day of the party?

Answer: Good question! Here a few things you can do that would help

Don't keep our show a secret. Let the kids know a real Magician is coming and let the excitement grow.

Don't tell the kids anything about what is in the show. Let's keep the bunny and the floating a secret.

Do save a parking space in your driveway or in front of your house. We have to make several trips from the car to your home to bring in the magic show. It just takes longer if we have to park down the street.

Do have the performance area ready for our arrival. We need at least a 7 x 5 area. (7 feet deep x 5 feet wide)

Question: When is the best time to start my child's birthday party?

Answer: Try not to send your invitations until you have confirmed a date and time with the us. Sometimes we will be working another party within a short distance of your home, and could entertain your party if you are able to be flexible with your time. This is a simple matter if the invitations have not yet gone out.

Saturdays and Sundays are busy days for us. If you want a show on these days, we suggest you call us to book 3 weeks or more in advance. Other considerations may be to plan your party for a weekend morning, late afternoon or early evening. We have seen a lot of successful parties at these times. Some people have even booked us for early weeknights and still had a good guest turnout and lots of fun.

Question: What age group is your birthday party show for?

Answer: Our unique children's birthday party show is routined for ages 4 years old and up. However, the birthday child can be younger. Many birthday parties are held for ages 1-3 years old, with a guest list of children 4 years old and older. The rule of thumb is: if most of the children at the party are at least 4 years old, then our show is perfect for you.

Question: What form of payment do you accept?

Answer: We accept Cash, checks and on-line payment with PayPal, as well as Visa, MasterCard. A non-refundable reservation fee is paid to hold the date and time for your party with the balance due on the day of your party.

Question: How much room do you need for your show?

Answer: An area as little as 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep will do. Also, we prefer an area where no one can sit, stand or walk behind us during the show. We don't want to give away any secrets now do we. So up against a wall, fireplace or fence would work well.

Question: Can you perform your show outdoors?

Answer: Weather and heat permitting, yes. You need to consider shade however. Some children do not do well sitting in direct sun for the duration of the show. We, as performers, also need to be out of direct sun. Our costumes can be very warm and we don't want to attend the next party all hot and sweaty.

Question: Do you have a show for pre-teens and teenagers.

Answer: Definitely. We have a totally different magic show for these type of audiences. It is more sophisticated and the magical effects are more challenging. Call us for more details.
